About Marie Smith

I have over twenty five years of experience working as a senior manager (specialising in HR & learning and development) in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. I am curious and constantly learning new things. I have achieved fellow status of the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development, and accredited Myers Briggs (MBTI) and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner. I am a Co-Active Coach and am currently on a Coaches Training Institute (CTI) programme to gain an International Coaching Federation (ICF) accreditation for my coaching skills.

I think a good work-life balance is key to a healthy life. Coupled with my passion for learning new things, this has led me to achieve various water based qualifications in sailing and diving. I regularly race my RS200 dinghy and crew on a friend’s racing yacht mainly in and around Poole Harbour and the Solent areas.

My personal drive and motivation is to support you through transitions and find success in whatever is right for you. Your transitions may be as individuals, as teams, in any environment. Different aspects and activities in our lives are all interwoven and one affects the other.

I am looking forward to working with you to make a difference!

Warm Wishes,

About SUCCESSMITH

SUCCESSMITH was created by Marie Smith in 2012. Our
approach at SUCCESSMITH is professional and friendly and brings a fresh and creative flavour to some serious learning. We understand and support others to develop behaviours that underpin high performance from individuals and teams.

Our expertise is co-creating an environment for individuals and teams to draw on their resources, to find better ways to progress through increased self-awareness and collaborative working. This approach positively impacts on performance, success and makes tangible differences to an individual’s life and those around them, both at work and at home.

There are no secrets to success. It is a result of preparation, hard work and learning from failure
